With a combined 85 years in maintenance, repairs and fabrication to the manufacturing industry the LTMC management team provides extensive experience.

Donald B. "Chip" Flournoy Jr.
President and Chief Operating Officer
Flournoy is responsible for the overall operation of LTMC and is also charged with entrepreneurial expansion of underutilized existing assets of Wise Metals Group. A 1978 graduate of the University Of Alabama with a bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering, Flournoy began working for Reynolds Metals Company in 1978 at it's Listerhill Reduction Plant and held various positions of management with Reynolds in Primary Metals, Research, and Mill Products Divisions. He began working at the Listerhill Alloys Plant in 1986 and joined Wise in 1999. While with Wise he has held positions in maintenance, production, information technology, engineering and environmental.

Bruce M. Merritt
Maintenance Services Manager
Merritt is responsible for the day to day operation of LTMC including the Field Services Division, Machine Shop Division, and the Heavy Equipment Division. Himself a Journeyman Numerical Control Maintenance Mechanic, Merritt has more than 26 years experience in machine installation and allignment, chilled water systems, precision machining and specialized maintenance. Prior to joining LTMC, he held positions with Boeing as a maintenance technician, machinist, planner, and Maintenance Manager. Merritt has also continued his technical and professional advancement through significant independent studies and participation with secondary education systems.

 

Sheila A. Duncan
Human Resources Manager / Safety Manager
Duncan is responsible for the human resources functions at LTMC. She graduated from the University of Alabama summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. She holds a certificate of Human Resources Management from the University of North Alabama and the Society of Human Resources Management, of which she is a current member. She has nearly 20 years of human resources experience and has held positions at a wide range of companies from entrepreneurial ventures to a global corporation. She is responsible for LTMC's strategic human resources planning, recruitment and staff development, employee relations, training, management development, employee benefits, financial management, payroll, and legal and compliance issues. Safety, a core value of LTMC, is another of her numerous responsibilities. Duncan is also responsible for Customers' Qualification Compliance requirements as well other special projects.

Clint Shattuck
Manager Power Genertation Services
Shattuck is responsible for the development and oversight of LTMC's Power Generation Services business. A 1977 graduate of the University Of Alabama with a bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering, Shattuck has over 28 years of experience in all aspects of operations and maintenance associated with power generating facilities. He began working for the Tennessee Valley Authority in 1977 at its Paradise Fossil Plant as a maintenance engineer and has held various maintenance and project managerial positions at TVA's Colbert Fossil Plant and eventually held a senior management position responsible for the maintenance support and engineering for TVA's entire boiler fleet.
